Mr. Natori is one of a handful of experienced Water Rights attorneys in Hawaii. He was part of the historic Waiahole Ditch contested case, Hawaii’s first major modern water rights case. In that case, Mr. Natori was able to obtain the second highest amount percentage of water for his client (96%) with minimal effort.
Through collaboration with other landowner attorneys he was able to minimize his time at the hearings which commenced on November 9, 1995 and continued until August 21, 1996, spanning fifty-two hearing days and four evening sessions. The parties presented closing arguments from September 18 to 20, 1996.
